Eric Swanson, Varsity Head Coach

Coach Swanson is in his third year as the Head Coach of the Anderson Trojans. He grew up in Watertown, South Dakota, and graduated in 2003 from Watertown High School. In high school, Coach Swanson was a multi-sport athlete, competing in football, basketball, and track.
After high school, he attended South Dakota State University, graduating in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics.  After college, Coach Swanson was hired back at his high school alma mater as a math teacher, middle school football coach, and assistant high school basketball coach. During that time, he was lucky to be a part of some very successful years in both the football and basketball programs. Coach Swanson, his girlfriend Britta, and their two dogs moved to Austin in 2014 in search of sunshine and new opportunities. A couple of things that Austin has in abundance. That year, he began his career at Anderson High School as a math teacher and assistant coach in both basketball and football.
During the 2021-22 school year, Coach Swanson also served as an interim athletic coordinator for Anderson Athletics, while still assisting with football and basketball.  In the fall of 2022, he also began coaching water polo as an assistant during the school's inaugural season, later becoming the head coach for boys and girls water polo for 2 seasons. Coach Swanson is committed to creating opportunities for kids to grow as students, athletes, and valued members of the community.  He’s excited about the future of Anderson Basketball and the opportunity to continue leading this storied program.  Go Trojans!

Jonathan Casper- varsity assistant and JV coach

Coach Casper is from Conroe, Tx. In high school he participated in football, basketball, and track. After high school he attended Texas A&M and graduated class of 22’. He began his coaching career coaching football, basketball, and track in Bryan, Tx, while also completing his Masters in Curriculum and Instruction.
Coach Casper is in his second year with the Trojans and will be teaching World Geography and World History this year at Anderson High School.

Tim Jones - Varsity Assistant & Freshmen A

Coach Jones is from California and has coached boys’ and girls’ basketball for the last 25 years. Coach Jones completed his teaching credential in History and Government in California as well a Master degree in Education School Leadership.
He has coached other sports including football, track, volleyball and swimming. He has coached all levels of high school basketball. He teaches AP US History and AP World History. He lives in Leander with his 3 children and wife.

“Boe” Williams - Varsity Assistant

Coach Jonathan “Boe” Williams attended Del Valle High School, where he was a multi-sport athlete who excelled in both football and basketball. After High School, Coach Williams attended Sam Houston State University. He received his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Political Science.
This season also marks his 12th as a coach at Murchison Middle School, where he coaches football, basketball, and track. Coach Williams is entering his 4th season as a Varsity Football Running Backs Coach for the Trojans. Coach Williams enjoys traveling, attending sporting events and giving back to the community. Coach Williams has a wife Jessica, one son Dayden Williams and a dog named Queen.

 
 
 

Brandon Williams - Varsity Assistant & Freshmen B

Coach Brandon Williams brings over two decades of teaching and coaching experience to Anderson High School.  Originally from Victoria, Tx, he graduated from Victoria High School, where he excelled in football.  After high school, Coach Williams obtained his Bachelor's of Exercise and Sports Science degree from Texas State University.  He then went to Concordia University and earned his Master's of Education degree.
Coach Williams began his career at Murchison Middle School where he taught and coached for 14 years. Coach Williams has most recently worked at Travis High School and Waco High School.  In addition to coaching basketball, he coaches the defensive linemen for the Anderson Trojan football team.  Coach Williams is a proud father of two adult daughters, Naliyah "Nia" and Kristian. He resides in Austin with his fiancé and best friend Hollie.

Kahmrin Traylor - Varsity Assistant

Coach “Kahm” Traylor joined our Anderson High School basketball program in 2025. He is from Manor, Texas and attended Manor New Technology Highschool. There he was the FIRST student-athlete in school history to sign to a college/university for athletics. He committed to Schreiner University for 4 years, winning a conference championship in 2022. After graduating schreiner in 2024 with his bachelors in Sports Management, he went back to be a graduate assistant at Schreiner for their 2024-2025 assisting with player development and head coaching the JV team.
This will be his second year coaching, his first at the high school level.

 

Christopher Brown - Varsity Assistant

Coach Brown, a Killeen, Texas native, was a multi-sport athlete in football, track, and basketball. He played college basketball at Huston-Tillotson University, earning a B.S. in Kinesiology in 2015. He began coaching with the City of Austin at the Pan Am Recreation Center, where he built strong ties within the East Austin community through coaching and service. In 2018, he joined Murchison Middle School’s staff, helping lead both boys' and girls' basketball teams to multiple City Championships. In 2024, Coach Brown joined the Lady Trojans Basketball program as the JV Head Coach and Varsity Assistant, contributing to their 2024–2025 District Championship success. He also coaches Track & Field at Anderson High School and supports Royce O’Neale’s annual basketball camp. Now in his second year at Anderson, Coach Brown continues to mentor young athletes, often alongside his two children, Ca’Vaughn and Kiyomi.

Athletic Trainers

 

Amy Ngo -M.Ed, LAT, ATC

Coach Ngo was born and raised in Lincoln, NE, where she attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and earned a BS in Athletic Training in 2013, while working with UN athletes from women’s soccer and basketball, swimming/diving, and football. After graduation, she completed an athletic training internship with ESPN Wide World of Sports and Disney in Orlando, FL., and then attended Baylor University for graduate school, earning a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology in 2016. While there she acted as the Athletic Trainer for Riesel ISD’s high school and junior high athletes and completed an internship in a sports medicine and orthopedic clinic.
In her free time, she enjoys playing volleyball, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
Coach Ngo started at Anderson in 2016 and acts as one of the athletic trainers for AHS athletics. She is an instructor for the Sports Medicine courses at Anderson.
She is available to all student athletes for injury evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation.

Diana Rincon Lopez - MAT, LAT, ATC, NREMT

 Coach Rincon is from Round Rock, TX. She attended McMurry University in Abilene, TX, where she majored in Exercise Science and Human Performance with a Concentration in Athletic Training in 2019. At McMurry, she worked with the McMurry Football, Women’s Soccer, Men's and Women’s Basketball, Track and Field, McMurry’s inaugural Softball team, and local high schools. She also played collegiate soccer at McMurry for 2 years. Following graduation, she became an Emergency Medical Technician and then began her Master's in Athletic Training at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Lubbock, TX. During her time at TTUHSC, she worked with numerous local high schools in the Lubbock area, including Coronado HS, Lubbock-Cooper HS, Levelland HS, and Frenship HS. During her free time, she likes to spend time with friends and family, playing sports, long-distance running, making arts and crafts, and spending time with her two cats, Sasuke and Duchess. This will be Coach Rincon’s first year at Anderson, and she will be co-instructing the Sports Medicine class with Coach Ngo.
